WLinkWLink has a full user interface for viewing,exporting and archiving weather data in any number of formats, is fully scriptable and can function as a webstar compliant CGI for interfacing a weather station to the Internet to provide interactive and live weather information. WLink is the only Macintosh software that works in conjunction with all the weather stations (Wizard II, Wizard III, Monitor II, Perception, Grow Weather, Energy Monitor, and Health-Enviro Monitor, Vantage Pro) manufactured by Davis Instruments , in addition to the RainWise WS-2000, Oregon Scientific WX-200/WM-918/WMR-968 and Peet Bros. Ultimeters. WLink is suitable for single weather stations and may be evaluated for 30 days without charge. After 30 days, users of WLink should pay the shareware fee of US$35. All registered users are entitled to free upgrades and technical support via phone or email. |

Users can now set/clear the station alarms and (if available) activate the alarm output module, run scripts when alarms are triggered. Alarm functions are fully scriptable and recordable. |
| Multiple archive displays |
More than one archive window can be displayed enabling you to see multiple sets of weather data simultaneously. Archive display can be resized onscreen and under script control and there appearance is fully customisable. Archive data can be saved as quicktime animations scrolling through days, months or years worth of data. |

All sensors or individual sensors - acgi can now return individual sensor readings as graphics. Graphic background colour, pattern or picture are fully adjustable and resizable, sensor displays can be either digital or analogue and are fully customisable. Sensor data can be saved as time lapse movies (quicktime) that automatically grow over time - when combined with a web cam background image you can view the weather and data simultaneously over time. |

In addition to the usual wind speed, temperature, rain fall etc. plots of wind run, barometric trend, degree days, daily temperature range and many monthly weather properties are available. Now includes support for remote temperature, remote humidity, soil moisture, leaf wetness and rainfall rate. Distance between stations or geographic locations and stations can be obtained enabling weather within a specific geographic area to be obtained - for users with multiple stations. NEW Plant disease/infection models - we have scripts for botrytis bunch rot and powdery mildew in grapes and are preparing scripts for downy mildew. |

For those who want to put their weather stations on-line and allow user originated queries of weather data from HTML forms, WLink is fully compliant with the Webstar CGI protocol. Works with all Mac web servers including Apple's Personal Web Sharing, Webstar, Quid Pro Quo and Net Presenz. Requires no knowledge of HTML or HTML Forms - all interaction is fully automatic. Can automatically upload sensor and almanac data in HTML, GIF,PNG and JPEG formats to remote web or ftp servers including ISPs and other non-Macintosh servers. Supports custom forms, server side includes and script execution. Extensive ( and expanding) CGI parameter dictionary supports the development of custom forms/searched/weather presentation. Supports automatic upload of sensor weather data to the weather underground using HTTP. Supports external ftp clients for upload to remote ISPs that are not compatible with Apples built in ftp access/remote access scripting. |
