BS Materials Science and Engineering 2004
Currently completing graduate degree in Materials Science and Engineering

Research Interests

Simulation, production, treatment, and characterization of castings and wrought alloys, microstructural analysis, heat treating, mechanical testing, and physical metallurgy.

Teaching Interests

Focus on metal casting and characterization; laboratory courses MY4130, MY2000.
Scanning Electron Microscopy; MY4200 and MY5200.
Other involvement: Materials Characterization MY3210.

Department Responsibilities

Oversee the metal casting facility and associated laboratory instruction, coordinate building safety program, maintain, upgrade, and repair equipment.
